Hi, my name is Emily Johns and I am a Junior at Washington Township High school. In my freshman year of High School I was named one of the top 50 freshman in the state of New Jersey, and I received the First team All Olympic conference award. My dream career is to work in the field of marine biology or architecture. I love spending time on the beach, drawing, sculpting, and building things so I plan to take the appropriate classes in college to accomplish my dreams and play the game that I love which is basketball. Basketball has been a part of my life from when I was a toddler. I am different from other recruits because I have a huge basketball background. I remember watching my mother coach the same Washington Township high school team that I play for now. I was in the gym all the time running around on the hardwoods and learning the game. I fell in love with it at a very early age and basketball has become my passion. My mother played for her dad when he coached the Washington Township team too, and from this day I have learned so much from the both of them. I also play soccer for my high school. I am a hard working student on and off the court and field. I strive to get better every year and accomplish goals that I set for myself. I hope to help lead my team to a championship one day have the best experience of my life.
