My name is Steven Zimmerman, class of 2022 at Tuckahoe High School. My inspiration and passion for Golf began when I was around 6 years old. I got into Golf because of my Grandfather and my Dad. Both of them started Golf at a young age, and they encouraged me to persevere and strive to become the best individual and Golfer I can be.
I always act professionally on the golf course because of the lessons I learned from them. I was mostly a casual Golfer and never really took it seriously until I started competing in tournaments. I have exceptional grades in school and participate in many other sports besides Golf. I am an extremely competitive Golfer and I take my practice sessions, rounds, and tournaments very seriously. I'm never satisfied with how I play and I always continue working on getting better, playing 9 or 18 holes everyday.
I would be a great fit on a collegiate team because I would continue to work harder as I got further into my college career. My college major, maybe journalism or Sportscasting , would incorporate nicely into my college Golf career. I will continue to be a better person and student-athlete and I believe I would be a great fit on a college team.
