First let me say thank you for taking time to look at my profile. My goal as a college athlete is to get a degree first and foremost. I would like to pursue a career in PGA Management or somewhere in the Golfing Industry. I would be a good candidate for your team because I am very coachable. Yet I'm also somewhat of a perfectest. I want every shot to be perfect. And when it's not I want to know why. The biggest asset of my golf game is distance. I am long off the tee. Another big asset my mine is I'm coachable. At least that's what my past & present coaches have told me. I give 110% of effort on the practice course as well as the golf course.
I think what makes me different than a lot of other recruits is my character. When I'm playing in a tournament or just playing a friendly round and I see my competitor or teammate struggling I try to coach them up. I try to help them as I would want them to help me if I were in their shoes. I want to earn their respect as much I want to respect them. Golf is "the gentleman's game" and I want play by those standards. And to me that's what is important.
As for my athletic career I started playing competitive sports early (8) in age. I started playing baseball and traveling around the east coast. When I was 12 years old I switched from baseball to playing in junior golf tournaments. I started in US Kids Golf. I qualified for the US Kids Golf Teen World Championships when I was 14 years old. I was able to make my school's Varsity Golf team when I was in the 7th grade. I was voted MVP 2 times when I was in the 8th & 9th grades. I currently play in tournaments for TYGA, CPGA, NJGT, NCJGF, and Tarheel Junior Golf, as well as the tournaments my school attends.
