- A very cold and rainy first day left me not playing to my strengths. Although my ball striking was good, I could not seem to figure my short game out the whole day. I ended up shooting a 96 after a long miserable day on the course. Day two was much better, but still not my greatest golf. On day two my ball striking was excellent, I just could not seem to make a putt outside of 20 feet until the last couple of holes. This left me having to settle for two putt pars and sometimes even a bogey if I left my approach short. I shot an 82 that day. After day one I was well outside the leaders placing 15th in my division and 40th overall in an 80 person field.

- Finished third out of a field of twenty-three. I played fairly well, but I could not seem to strike my irons pure often times leaving myself a little short and having to scramble to make par. I shot 75 the first day and 80 the second day.

I am an active acolyte at my church, St. James Episcopal Hendersonville, also actively involved in the youth group at church. Volunteer at the local rescue mission in Hendersonville NC.
