My name is Shockley Hiatt and I attend Mount Airy High School and play on their golf team. I got a very late start to golf and have only been playing 2 years. I feel my work ethic and daily practice have helped my game grow rapidly. As a sophomore I got All-Conference honors, and as a Junior I got All-Conference, Runner-up in the 1A Midwest regionals, and 3rd place individually in the 1A State championship with our team being Runner-Up. In the class room I have over a 4.0 GPA and was inducted into the National Honors Society.
I feel as my golf game is getting stronger every day, despite my game being pretty raw despite a putting lesson I got before. My strengths on the golf course are my Irons and my mentality when playing high-pressure tournament golf. As I am starting to take the sport more seriously,
