Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Harrison Cieri. I am in the class of 2024 at Corinth Holders High School. I have played golf since a very early age but have taken it more seriously over the past 3 years playing more competitive golf. I am very coachable, always looking for ways to improve my game. I take honors and AP level classes at my high school as well as college classes at the local community college with a high GPA. I aspire to play golf at a collegiate level as well as succeed in the classroom.

  • 76-75 for t12 of 80. 6800 yards. Played in rain on day 1 with 3 hour rain delay.
  • Camp/Event
  • TYGA Coastal Plains
  • 8/09/23 to 8/10/23
  • 77-71 t19 of 65.
  • Camp/Event
  • CGA Dogwood State Junior Boys
  • 7/18/23 to 7/20/23
  • 74-72 made cut but withdrew due to sickness in the 3rd round.
  • Camp/Event
  • CGA Carolinas Junior Championship
  • 6/27/23 to 6/29/23
  • Shot 72 in the qualifier to get into event. 80-71 for a t75 of 130. Day 1 of event wasnt as bad as the score suggests, a bad swing and a couple 3 putts sum to a +8 first day. Day 2 was much more solid, a pretty clean scorecard and a couple birdies coming in to post a -1 71 on day two for a overall of +7. Missed the cut by 3 but a nice rebound round to build off of.
  • Camp/Event
  • CGA NC Junior Boys Championship
  • 6/20/23 to 6/20/23
  • 76 for a t65 of 150. Top 64 and ties moved on to match play. Got into a 20 for 2 man playoff and did not move on. Not my best golf but tried my best to put together a score and just missed match play by a shot. Plenty of positives though to take into my next event.
  • Camp/Event
  • TYGA Bojangles Junior
  • 6/03/23 to 6/04/23
  • 74-76-83 for a t69 finish. 36 holes on day one playing over 7100 yards, played very solid and managed through a long hot day. day two was one to forget, early tee time with weather in the mid 50s, cloudy and 20mph winds made the course play significantly longer than day one. while its not the finish i planned there were a lot of positives and good golf to build on starting the summer.
  • Camp/Event
  • TYGA Lane Tree
  • 5/13/23 to 5/14/23
  • 80-74 for a t17 finish of 55. A couple bad drivers makes a first round appear worse than it was. Solid Iron play and a consistent second round that I'm taking the positives from and moving on.
  • Camp/Event
  • TYGA Down East Junior
  • 4/22/23 to 4/23/23
  • 72-79 for 22nd of 80. Rainy with 15mph winds but played very solid all day to place t5 after day one. I was t8 through 14 holes but a couple lipped puts and a costly swing sums it up to a 79 on day two. The tournament may not have ended how we wanted but there was a lot of great golf played and I'm really looking forward to this summer.
  • Camp/Event
  • Winternational #4
  • 1/07/23 to 1/08/23
  • 77-77 for T9 of 55. Course playing at 6400 for both days. Was below 45 degrees both days. Struck irons and wedges good enough for plenty of opportunities, just couldn't get any putts to drop. Good tournament showing looking to build off.
  • Camp/Event
  • CGA Collegiate Showcase
  • 11/19/22 to 11/20/22
  • 84-84. T77 of 120. Very cold with temperatures in mid 40s on both days and long course playing over 7000 on day one and 6900 on day two. Fought a hook with driver and 3 wood on day one with a couple very costly holes. Day two was more of the same with a couple bad holes stopping momentum throughout the round. Good experience despite the score and looking to learn from it.
  • Camp/Event
  • TYGA Tournament of Champions
  • 9/24/22 to 9/25/22
  • 73-76, +7. T15 out of 70 player field. Played well, a couple errant tee shots that proved to be costly to my score stopping momentum throughout the round.
  • Camp/Event
  • Winternational #6
  • 79 for a 18th/88 finish. Rain the following day to cancel the second round. Positives of this round were decent iron play when the driver was not cooperating, a single bad hole sums the story but looking to learn from this going into the spring season.
  • Camp/Event
  • TYGA SAS Junior
  • 71, -1 for t4 of 100. 6500 yards with a good field.
