Gage Garvin '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Gage Garvin. I have been playing golf competitively for about 5 years, and I have always dreamed of taking golf to the next level collegiately and professionally. I have been playing for East Wake High School on their varsity team since freshman year, and I’ve loved every second of it. I am a hard-working player with a great mindset, I also love to involve my teammates in other things like playing rounds of golf outside of school and hanging out to keep a good team chemistry. In addition, pushing them to stay in a good mindset to keep their own game positive. I’ve played other sports in my life like football and baseball, but I've always had this connection with golf. Unlike the other sports, playing and practicing golf is something I look forward to.  I have always had aspirations past high school, so I realize the importance of keeping my academics as sharp as my game.
