My name is Ben Ramold and I am a class of 2021 graduate. I’ve been golfing for 6 years and competitively for about 4 years now, which has led me to fall in love with the sport. Living on a golf course has allowed me to play everyday and work on getting better. Also, I love the competition and never want to lose. I'm thankful that I'm playing for one of the best golf teams in the state, (Massillon Jackson) because it brings out the best in my game due to the constant competition. I enjoy the team atmosphere of golf since everyone is pushing each other to get better as well as just having fun and creating memories.
Most importantly, before golf comes school. I pride myself in my academics and currently have an accumulative GPA of 4.400, taking AP, Accelerated, and College Credit Plus courses. I’m a member of Student Council, Key Club, and a Freshman Mentor on top of being on the varsity golf team. Outside of golfing I really enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, and biking. I love giving back to the community through volunteering. I’m actively involved with Akron-Canton Food Bank, Salvation Army of Massillon, and First Tee Organization.
I am practicing or competing 6 days a week with an active workout regimen throughout that time. I'm always trying to get better pushing myself and others around me. With my hard work ethic and dedication to the sport I feel like I would be a great college athlete and be able to build the program.
