Hi coach, 

My name is Jack Moro, and I was born on February 5th, 2004, in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. I am 17 years old, and I started playing golf at 4 and playing tournaments at 9.  I am very passionate about the game of golf, and I think about the game and how I can improve my game all the time. Growing up, I played many additional sports, including Hockey and Football.  These sports have taught me how to play as a team and show leadership. I strive to push myself to get better, work hard, and am very determined to complete any task that stands in my way. I take pride in my academics, giving 100% effort on every school project or test I face.  I am very competitive, and I want to win in any challenge I am given. My work ethic is undeniable, and I am always willing to go the extra mile to help myself get better at whatever I strive to do.  I believe my determination, work ethic, competitive edge, and passion for the game of golf are all significant characteristics for any golf team.

My current golf handicap is +0.4, and I believe the best part of my game is my short game. I am also solid off the tee, and even though I am not the longest hitter, I can position myself around the golf course very well. My iron play is very key in allowing me to give myself chances to score. My scrambling skills are important to me as they allow me to save a good round if I need to grind.
