My name is Reuben Wasserman, I am in the class of 2025. I attend Tanenbaum CHAT in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I have been playing competitive golf since I was 9 years old. For the last 3 years I have been a sponsored junior at Bayview Golf and Country Club, where I am the 2021 junior club champion. In July, 2022 I represented Canada and my Jewish community on the Junior Golf Team at the Maccabiah Games in Israel. The Maccabiah Games is an international sporting event, which included over 10,000 Jewish athletes from over 60 countries. As a golf team we won a bronze medal, in which I had the lowest 4 day total out of the Canadians. Representing Canada at the Maccabiah Games in Israel was the first major goal of my golf career, and now that I have successfully achieved that goal, I am focussing on my next goal - to play college golf.
