Jeffrey Seiler '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches, my name is Jeffrey Seiler, a 17 year old aspiring college golfer from Hilltown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. I am currently a Junior in High School (2023), in my third year of playing golf and first year of playing competitively. Once I decided to play golf for my high school team, I focused and worked hard, and after only 2 months of playing golf and taking lessons, I tried out for and made my high school varsity team,   I have found golf to be a passion of mine allowing me to work on my game every single day as much as possible, retiring from other sports so I can focus on golf year round. Through this hard work I have managed to achieve a handicap of 7.5 and a tournament average of high 70's to low 80's. I believe I’m a great fit for a college golf team for many reasons. I have a strong work ethic in school, holding a GPA of 3.7, on the course or practice range, and in the gym. I know I have the potential to be a great golfer, and plan to continue on the trajectory that has taken me from shooting in the high 90's just over 2 years ago, to shooting consistently in low 80's or high 70's . I was recently named to Suburban One League 2nd Team, for which I am very proud. My coach and trainer both believe in my potential, and feel that with each year I will continue to improve through practice, and working on the mechanics, thereby lowering my handicap and tournament scores. My personality is such that when I put my mind to something,  I don't stop until I achieve my goal.  My passion for golf is second to none.
