My name is Chase Pochylko (Po-hill-ko). I live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I have dreams and aspirations of college golf in the United States. I believe that my skills and hard work can help any team succeed.
I am a self-motivated individual who started golf very early and began to take it seriously at 12. Over the past three years, my tournament stroke average has improved each year, and I don’t plan on hitting a peek anytime soon.
My father is a Chiropractor, my mother a retired financial adviser, and my older brother is a track and field athlete at the University of Saskatchewan. Our family also has an organic grain farm that we all take part in putting the crop in and harvesting. Working on our family farm has taught me hard work and patience, which have helped me in my golf career so far.
In March of 2021, I spent two months at Sean Foley’s Performance Academy in Florida, where I learned many new skills that continue to help with my game and career. In the 2021 tournament year, I won one MJT event in Saskatchewan, and I also won the junior boys division at MJT nationals by five shots. Throughout the winter, I’ve been working out daily and hitting balls on our simulator every day to prepare for the 2022 golf season.
