I want to attend the best college I can find that will allow me to lead and serve in both the classroom and the golf course. I want to go to a highly selective, top-tier college that will put me in a new and competitive environment that will give me an opportunity to grow as a person. I have a record of high academic achievement, I am a leading member of my high school's Navy JROTC unit, and I am a masterclass musician. I am a varsity letter recipient for three years running and a competitive golfer on one of the best 5A high school golf teams in South Carolina. So far this year, I made first team All-Region after I shot a +3 (75) in the Region Championships, firing off the tournament’s second best score on the 6850 yard course at the Ponderosa Country Club. I also carded a 78 at the Blue Jacket Invitational at the Diamondback in Aynor, South Carolina. I am looking forward to the Lower State and State Championships. I have learned to balance my time between golf and academics very well. It is difficult to know where I would fit in on a college golf team. The best college team for me would be one that allows me to excel in the classroom and gives me room to contribute and get better on the course.
