Ethan Willis '17 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play golf at the college level.  I love golf and work hard to improve my game.  I have a tremendous work ethic and practice everyday. When I am with my team, my hard work and determination inspire the other members to step up their game.  I am motivated to do my best and aspire to eventually play golf as a professional. I am currently ranked in the top 180 in the world for 2017 graduates.  I have played many different sports, basketball and travel baseball.  I did not get into golf until middle school, but once I understood the intricacies of the game, especially the mental game, I devoted myself full time to the sport.  The best way I can describe the feeling I have when I step into the tee box is the same one I had when I played baseball- its the ninth inning, two outs, tying run is at second, and its up to me to bring home the win.  I love the sport, the people I have met, the character I have built, and the skills I have learned.  There is no other sport like it.
