I have been playing golf since the age of six. From the start of middle school, I have always wanted to play college golf. With having the opportunity that I have by putting myself in the position I am in now I want to pursue a good life after college by obtaining a degree in civil engineering or business entrepreneurship or management.
From the High school golf perspective, I look at myself as a leader of the team always taking notes from older teammates and teaching the younger teammates the ropes. This was shown in my TAP results as someone that has a greater focus on the team and that we always give our 110% all the time. I'm also known for my loyalty to the team and the thought process that is put into each and every choice I make. I work hard at the course, using my time wisely and working on what needs to be fixed, changed, or improved.
Just like on the course I work just as hard in the classroom. Maintaining the 3.5 GPA I have right now is one of my high priorities and I will do whatever is necessary to keep that. Something that I am most proud of is that I have not had a C on a final report card since fourth grade.
I would like to attend a college where I can push myself to be a better me. As well as playing for a great golf program and become a great role model for all other teammates and classmates.
