To Coaches,
I am a senior in High School. I am looking forward to continue my career in Women's Basketball. I love the game and it is my therapy. First and foremost I am a great leader on and off the bench. My team mates on both my High School team my AAU team look to me to encourage and keep them focused. I am a talker on the court. On a team that does not communicate well I maintain my voice to continue to help my team be the best they can be. My strength on the court is my defense, I am aggressive and will pressure the ball and deny and help when needed. I hustle on the floor at all times. I can give great passes. Playing AAU for 7 years helped me get a different style of playing the game, which means I played a lot of street ball. It has helped me see the cuts and see a mix match. I am a shooting guard, but can play many positions and able to adapt to line change up from opposing teams. I can shoot the 3, especially the corner shot and top of the key. I can pull up for a floater or a pull up a perimeter shot. I like to drive the ball to create fouls and hopefully get my team 4 pts. I am a hard dedicated worker. My AAU 7 year career helped me to be stronger and challenged me. I played with and against some of the best players in the US. I was able to play with the players and against the teams that were elite and hang with them. I am used to the competitive field and know what it takes to make your team better by adding my game.
I have made all district team 22 and 23 year. We won district tournament and regional tournament and made to the 1st round of state. I have been the team captain this year.
I am a good student and respectful to my teachers. I could be better at doing my work, but maintained good grades. I know that college will require a lot of studying and I am fully prepared for that. I want to be a labor and delivery nurse. I want to pursue 2 of my dreams at the same time.
