I initially was interested in the sport of golf because of my dad, whether it be us watching the PGA on tv or him taking me to the course to watch him play. One thing that I have learned about myself through golf is that I can make the best with what I am given day by day. Which allows me to adapt and overcome some of the struggles I may be facing during a tournament or practice. As of right now, I plan on majoring in the field of engineering due to my interest in problem-solving and teamwork. I believe that those attributes allow me to work well with other people to achieve a common goal; whether it be academically or athletically.
