My name is Zachary Slayton, and I am a junior in high school from Austin, Texas. I began playing golf in 2014 and played my first competitive tournament in June 2015. I have improved over the last couple of years and shaved seventeen strokes off my tournament scores. I have been very dedicated to improving my game so that I can play at the collegiate level. I go to the golf course every day to practice and to get better at every aspect of golf. I pride myself on having good course management and being able to make smart decisions when needed. I have always been viewed as a strong leader and would be able to help your golf team through my leadership skills. I strive to do my best academically and maintain a high GPA. My goal is to attend a university where I can excel both in the classroom and on the golf course.
