August 2018Personal Statement
I started playing the game of golf in 8th grade after playing travel baseball since I was 7 years old. Fell in love with the game instantly. I've been working with my swing coach Sammy Hanson since the first day I picked up a club and continue working with him still to this day. Plus, I'm in a workout program at LA Fitness 3-4 days a week to increase my strength and flexibility on the course. I made varsity at Pearland HS one year after picking up my first golf club. When I graduate this year I will have been a 4 year letterman at Pearland high school that has sent 4 kids to college for golf in the last 3 years. I'plan on getting a business degree in hopes of running my own business one day. I am a very discipline, hard working and coachable athlete and I am eager to get better every day. I will always do my best and expect those around me to do the same. I have set goals for myself and I've set goal with my teammates. I plan on keeping the same mentality when I enter college.

- I started training with Sammy 2-3 times a week in 2015 and still train weekly with him. I will continue training with Sammy throughout high school on a weekly basis. Sammy helps me set goals and continuously is working with me on new drills to improve my game.
