Tyler Akins '22 Recruiting Profile

I am Tyler Akins and I started to play golf my sophomore year of high school, about a year and a half ago. I say this to explain how hard of a worker I am, I practice more than any other kid in texas. I have played for 1 year and a half and I tied for 3 winning the medalist side, at our regional tournament, qualifying for state. In the regional tournament, I shot a 78 on a hard course. I will be the hardest worker on any team. I also apply the same amount of effort in everything I do, including school. My academics are the best in the school. I am the valedictorian, through my junior year and really try to apply myself in all aspects of my life. I am in many extracurricular activities, and try to help my community in every way possible, including volunteering my time, with a service cord. I plan to major in investing in college and really want to experience golf at a college level, therefore, I will work hard and won't stop until I fulfill my dreams.
