I started to get into golf at the very young age of about six, my father worked at a golf course and would take me to swing sometimes and after a while, I became a natural. As I got older I stopped playing golf to pursue other things I liked, like football. I got back into golf in middle school and I was just as good as before if not better, so I continued to play and got better. My first year playing with the school I got first place as an individual and as a team and decided I would do this in high school too.
In my free time, I like to be outdoors and just watch and listen to nature. I also like to go fishing and hunting, but I usually just go with my dad. My dad taught me how to fish, how to hunt, and how to golf. He has also taught me how to skin animals and how to be very, very patient. I remember the first time I went hunting I had to wait ten hours just to see a doe, that was the first big animal I shot. So, with all this patience I’ve learned to be patient and have fun with golf. You’re not playing against other people your playing against the course.
