I've been playing golf since I was 8 years old and competitive golf for the past 4 years. I have played varsity golf for Klein Oak High School all four years. Through the years, I played baseball and football at a competitive level as well. Although I enjoy each of these sports, I have excelled in golf the most. I'm highly interested in playing golf at the next level and becoming a student athlete.
I find the game of golf both mentally and physically challenging. There is nothing better than a good challenge! Golf challenges me on many different levels. It is me against the course, against my opponent, and it is also me trying to make decisions and shave one or two more strokes off my game to help my team to a victory. I strive to always play my best and will give 110% effort in both practice and competitive rounds. Sportsmanship is also a big part of the game and for me as well.
I feel it is always important to put your best foot forward and lead by example. Golf for me is a way of life! When I am not in class, I live to be on the golf course. I'm fortunate to be able to play golf year round. I would like to use my golf talents to help further my education. My ultimate goal is to earn an engineering degree, specifically in either petroleum or nuclear engineering.
