Personal Statement

My goal is to play competitive college golf at the most challenging level possible while earning my degree.  I want to study criminal justice with an emphasis in biology or mathematics.  I earned my Eagle Scout when I was just 15  by being self motivated and adaptable.  I am a hard worker and also take direction well.

I love being part of a team and always try to encourage others.  I’ve played tournaments since I was 11 and I understand how important behavior, etiquette and integrity is in the game.

My coaches are continually complimenting me on my ability to learn and adapt quickly while having solid golfing skills.  Playing collegiate golf has been my dream since I was a preteen and I am willing to put in the work both on and off the course.

The second day was an awful day and I struggled with my putting posting a disappointing 87. I now realize what I was doing wrong with my putting stance but just couldn't fix it that day. On a positive note, my drives and approach shots were better on the second day.

(My M5 cracked three days before the tournament so I used my older M2. TaylorMade is sending a new replacement SIM driver that I should have in a couple days.) I need to improve my GIR and will be working on that before my next tournament.
