Ryan Smiley '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello College Coaches,

   Leadership, honesty, and integrity are three attributes that I value the most on and off the golf course.  Golf has been a sport that I was introduced to at the age of 8 and I have stuck with it ever since.  My leadership like social skills makes me a great candidate for a collegiate golf team. I am looked at as a leader since I play the Number 1 spot on the team. I'm also looking forward to my career in college. The entire experience is something I look forward to. School pride is very important to me, during my years at College Park High School I led the school student section at football and basketball games thus reflecting my leadership skills. I would like to get some sort of business degree after college and attempt to pursue golf for as long as I can. My cool, calm and collected manner on the course allows me to deliver under pressure, followed by my consistent iron play and ability to keep the ball in the fairway.
