Hi, my name is Connor Doyle and I will be a sophomore at Eastmont High School this fall. I started playing golf 2 years ago, and it has been huge hobby of mine ever since. I would love to play college Golf after I graduate from high school in June of 2018. My collegiate goals and aspirations would be to go to a good 4 year college and be the best I can be in the classroom and out on the course. To be part of a team that is really close and treats each other like family would be awesome! What makes me a good candidate for a team would be my work ethic and dedication towards the game. I have been trying to practice and play 4-5 times a week and sometimes more. I am always looking for new advice on things that can make me a better golfer. I like to research and watch golf videos online or demonstration shows on the golf channel, as well as get tips from good players at my local Country Club course. I am also on a yearlong lesson program with the assistant pro (Ed Quick) at Wenatchee Golf and Country Club (WGCC). This means I get a lesson every week with him, along with new things to work on. What makes me different from other recruits is my passion for the game. For only playing a little over 2 years, I have been able to go from a 27 handicap in March of 2015 to being an 11 handicap by July. I am also in 1st place to get the Most Improved award at WGCC! For the short amount of time I have been playing the game, I am proud of my 11 handicap, and am striving to get better every day!
