Losing my brother during my childhood has influenced me to become a strong and hard-working person to who I am today. The loss of my brother also showed me that life is short and you need to continue to work hard every day to achieve your goals. When I was about the age of 10, I became interested in the sport. I became interested in the sport because it just gave me a feeling like no other. Soccer was the sport where I could achieve my dreams of going to college and I felt a strong passion for it from the day that I began. What I have learned about myself through the sport is that I am hardworking, committed, passionate. My academic goals for college are to obtain a major in engineering while playing at the highest level of soccer. One of the major obstacles that I faced was breaking my hip from soccer when I was 13. Overcoming this obstacle showed me that there's gonna be little bumps in the road but the strongest ones take the challenge and overcome them. The obstacles that I have faced, have given me the leadership and work ethic that would positively affect your program.
