Hi Coach!
My name is Brendan Lemery, and I am part of the graduating Class of 2022 from Appleton, Wisconsin.
Since I have been young, it has been my goal to play golf collegiately. Whether it is full days at the golf course on my own practicing, spending countless hours in the gym building my strength, or quiet time studying and training my mental game, every single day I do something to get me closer to my goal of collegiate golf.
In addition to working hard athletically, I have always prioritized building academic integrity and excellence. Through five semesters of high school, I have accrued a 3.9 GPA, taking seven AP classes. I also pride myself in how I have chosen to not be entirely rigid about my grades, but rather focus on my learning, and allow myself space to grow as a person in other areas. In this, I have decided to volunteer more in my community and focus more on being a brother to my sister, and a friend to all those around me.
I enjoy broadening my horizons, exemplified by the fact that I have been learning French for nine years and have met many friends from multiple different countries through the language. I believe this is a skill which I will be able to take with me for the rest of my life, and demonstrates my growth mindset which serves me well not only on the golf course, but in life.

- 74 (+3). I felt encouraged by this tournament because it was my best ever tournament score, and I still felt like I did not at all play my best golf. A good stat was that I played the Par 3s in (-1), which I normally play over par, and have been a focus of my practice lately. I also played the Par 5s in (-1).

- T39 (80 at Trappers Turn (6,410 yds), 79 at Wild Rock (6,408 yds)). My scores were very much a battle, as I struggled immensely off the tee. I was proud of my -1 through the last 5 holes finish at Wild Rock on the last day because I just fought to put myself in positions to make birdies.

- Day one: 79 (+7) at Dretzka (6,583 yds). Day two: 75 (+4) at Brown Deer (6,306 yds). Both days were played in rain (heavier rain on day two), and even though I was making a lot of bogeys, I kept a clear head very well, and made some birdies to make up for it. This was my first two day tournament in which I had two scores in the 70s.

- Blue Tees (6,830 yds) Day one: 83 (+11). Day two: 82 (+10). There was pouring rain both days.

- 78 (+6) White Tees (6,392 yds) I did not have my game that day, so I worked really hard on staying level headed and fought to salvage a score coming in.
