Hi Coach, I am Tyler Johnson from Berlin, Wisconsin graduating in the class of 2022. Golf has always been a big part of my life since I was born because I have lived on a golf course all my life. I really began to take it serious in middle school when I decided to stop playing other summer sports and just focus on golf. I have been a leader on our school's varsity team since I was a freshman. I have always been getting other guys to come practice and work on their games which has improved the golf program drastically. Since I was a kid I have always been very competitive with everything I do. That competitiveness is what drives me to be the best golfer and person I can. Now it is just a continuous grind to get my game to the next level.
I also strive academically and I have obtained a 4.29 GPA through my three years of high school. I enjoy pushing myself in sports but also in school by taking many honors and AP classes. These classes play a big role in improving my mental strength which carries over to the golf course. School is a place for me to socialize with many people throughout the day. I've always taken pride in making people's days better and putting a smile on their face.
Thanks for your time.
