My goals for college is plain and simple, to do good in both academics and swim. I would like to eventually graduate with a PHD in Marine biology. I am good candidate for you team because I am a hard worker. Academics wise I have had a lot to overcome alot because I have dysgraphia. Dysgraphia is a writing disability which has made things hard but I didn't let it hold me down. I've managed to be on high or highest honor roll every semester of high school so far. I even earned my academic letter at the end of my sophomore year.
Athletics wise you can put me in just about any event and even if I am not the best I will still score points for the team. In fact that's what I am known for on our high school team, the all around swimmer that they can count on to fill any open spot. I've swam the 500 free, 200 free, 100 free, 50 free, 100 back, 100 breastroke, and 200 IM in a meet and scored points every time. This year I have mainly focused on the 100 breast & 200 IM but my coach knows I will swim anything he needs. As sophomore I was chosen to be an alternate on both the 200 medley and 200 free relay that went to state because of my dedication and fast times. This year I was part of the 200 medley and 200 free relay that qualified & swam for division 2 state. I swim 40 weeks a year (both high school and club) and also do gym workouts. I am join track this year to help increase my endurance both in and out of the water. Every success I achieve only pushes me harder to reach the next goal. If you look at my swim cloud history you will see that I am consistently getting faster every year. I am different from others because swim and school are my number one priorities. I will put everything I have into what I am doing even if it's an event I'm not comfortable in. In athletics and academics I am very well rounded and someone you can count on.
