Football has always been a huge part of my life, I first started playing when I was in 3rd grade. I love the game so much that not playing after high school doesn’t seem right to me. It has always been a dream of mine. I have always been a hard worker in school and earned good grades, and that same work ethic carries over onto the field. Not only do I feel that I have a great work ethic, but I also feel that being a leader on the field is one of my strongest skills. This past football season, I tore my PCL and sprained my MCL in my left knee in our 3rd game of the season. Standing on the sideline, not being able to play, was such a hard thing for me to do, but looking back on it, it taught me how to overcome adversity and to not take anything for granted. Playing football at the collegiate level would be a dream come true, and I know that if I’m blessed enough to get that opportunity, I will give 110% effort everytime I step on the field.
