From the moment I first swung a golf club three years ago I knew golf was something I wanted to pursue. I love the sport and it would be an honor to be able to play at the collegiate level. I am ready to make the commitment to play for a mens golf team and I will give it everything I have.
I started playing golf at Triple Crown country club in Union Kentucky. I put in a lot of time their to try to compete at the high school level and I was successful. In 8th grade I got to for my high schools JV team after only playing for a couple months. I really enjoyed competing for them and decided I wanted to compete in tournaments in the summer. I competed in a couple tournaments in Kentucky but then we moved to Wisconsin where I played in a lot of tournaments and began to succeed. Ever since I've been trying to improve my game to be able to play at the collegiate level.
I've maintained a 3.6 GPA all throughout high school so far and participated in golf, basketball and show choir stage crew. I am also a member of the Spanish National honor society. Participating in all these things has taught me good leadership skills, work ethic, and communication skills that I believe would benefit me at the collegiate level.
