Elijah Cole '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Elijah Cole, and I currently live in Cheyenne, Wyoming. I have several goals for my future both academically and athletically.  Academically, I am pushing towards a future in medicine. Athletically, I golf as much as I possibly can, weather permitting. When the weather is not ideal in Wyoming, I normally travel to Arizona to practice. I want to be able to join a team and be able to fight for not only a spot on that team but to also help to grow the program. Academically, I currently have a cumulative 3.9 GPA and am planning on taking the ACT and SAT in the spring. In addition, I have been accepted to the Senate Page Program in Washington DC for the upcoming spring semester. I will be joining twenty-nine other high school juniors from around the country to work and see our country’s government on the highest level. In addition to the Senate Page Program, I was awarded the Gold Congressional Medal for voluntary service, personal development, and physical fitness this last year. The Congressional Award Program pushes young students to become leaders in their communities through voluntary service, while they benefit themselves through personal development and physical fitness. In conclusion, I want to find a college in which I can compete and be challenged in my sport, and I also want to find a place where I can grow academically towards my future profession in medicine.
