Dominic Jackowski '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Dominic Jackowski. A very enthusiastic goaltender from Alberta, Canada. From a young age I knew that goaltending was what I wanted to do as I grew up, test the limits of my abilities and see just how far goaltending would take me.

I‘m glad to say i’ve had such a fun 12 years playing goalie, getting to travel to Europe to play on an international team at just 10 years old, and then later playing for a year-round hockey team in the Hockey Super League (HSL) from 2015 to 2018. 

While in the HSL I played under a team named Team Revolution. Team Revolution was very well coached and managed as a player development training team, often up to 10 hours of on and off-ice training and developing players. I don’t believe i would have come as far as I have as a goaltender if it wasn’t for all of the talented players that challenged me and forced me to became better in order to win games. They taught me to predict shooters, cut down angles and be agile, be aggressive in the crease, be patient, calm and smart.

I adapt very fast to coaching tips or tough shooters and love learning all the different ways on how I can be a better goaltender than I already am.
