Hockey is a big part of my life and my family's life. When I was 2 years old, I tried on my dad's goalie mask and was hooked on hockey ever since.
I have played the AAA route - Bantam, Minor Midget and Midget. I’ve played at the Senior AA level and practiced with Senior AAA. Attended WHL rookie camp. All these experiences have shown me that success only comes with hard work.
It is easy to give up during the hard times, when the hockey world is trying to push you away. But it’s the hard times that tells you who you are as a person and a player - and I don’t give up. I use the challenging times to get myself refocused and to work harder than ever to achieve my goals.
Academically, while traditional school has always been a struggle I was successful in achieving my high school diploma and am currently apprenticing as a welder. I know I have the characteristics and the skill to play at the college level and have the work ethic to be a great student with the right college.

- We have had a slow start but have started to get going now. It has been a huge learning curve as play is faster and harder than Junior hockey.

- Team Handball - I have played 3 years at the Jr High Level, on the starting line. I played right wing and right back. We were successful in receiving a bronze and a silver medal at the provincial level over those 3 years.
