Personal Statement
My collegiate goals are to play for and represent a great college that not only appeals to me athletically, but also academically. I work hard on the ice, off the ice, and in the classroom. Not only do I strive to be a better hockey player, but most importantly, a better person in general. I was raised by great parents, and they are always teaching me how to become an independent, strong-willed young man. In the hockey sense, I am a silent leader. Almost every coach I have played for has told me that I “lead by example”, and I feel like that statement describes me perfectly.
