I’m Taber Gutschick and I’m a defenseman for the U18AAA Colorado Springs Tigers. I’m 5’10”, 165lbs. I would classify my game as a two-way, puck moving defenseman. I feel that I’m more of a skill-based defenseman than a physical defenseman. My greatest attribute would definitely be seeing the whole ice. I know where everyone is and where everyone is going to be. I am calm with the puck but like to make quick ups to catch the other team off guard. I am also very good in the defensive zone with getting stick on puck and deflecting pucks up into the netting. I want to play at the highest level possible and I want to contribute to any team that I am on.
