My collegiate goals and aspirations in hockey are to make it to the highest level of hockey that I could possibly play at and to be a useful asset to any team that I step on the ice with. I'm interested in pursuing a degree in Pharmacy (PharmD). Here's why I hope you will consider me.
I've had to work to get where I am today in hockey, and I will continue to work to get where I want to end up. My path to playing with some of the best players, here in CT, came through hard work. I wasn't always the "A" player, but I did not give up. That effort shows itself with every shift that I play. Ice Hockey has taught me many things and I've made many friends. It has given me a lot. Still, while I am proud of my hockey accomplishments, I am most proud of what I've been able to accomplish academically. Recently, I was recognized by College Board as a National Hispanic Scholar. That is something I am very proud of.
I bring the same dedication and enthusiasm to all the things that I do. I'm as happy helping my teammates do well as I am in doing well myself. To any prospective coach and teammate, I can guarantee that my work ethic and love for the game is as strong as any other recruit out there.
