Matthew Pollack '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing hockey since I was about 6 years old.  I remember the first time I stepped on the ice and I knew that I wanted to do this for the rest of my life.  Throughout my youth career, I've always dreamed of playing at a higher level, at least collegiate hockey. 

I try to lead by example and be a good role model for my team.  I believe that on a team, everyone should bring each other up and support each other to the fullest extent.  I try to remember that and fulfill it whenever I'm with my team, on the ice or off.

At school, I maintain a high GPA and try to enroll in the hardest classes that will challenge me.  I help out at the local rink by teaching new kids how to skate and I referee games for the younger kids as well.  I participate in school activities and try to help out the community to my best ability.

My wish is to attend a college with the highest level of education and competition possible while still staying involved with the community.
