Hello, my name is Brennan Leonard. I like being active with my friends and family. My favorite activities include playing hockey, going to the beach, and playing spike ball. I am a student at Radford High School in Honolulu Hawaii. I am an active member of the Amplified club, wrestling team, and ROTC. My family and I moved from North Carolina last year and I have also lived in Maryland and Virginia. In North Carolina I was a student at West Carteret High School where I ran cross country, played lacrosse, ROTC, and swam on the swim team. I also studied and became open water SCUBA certified. My father is in the Coast Guard so my family moves more than the average. I feel like being a military child made me more outgoing because every time I move I am forced to overcome the challenge of making new friends and adapting to my new environment. I also think my parents helped develop my character because they taught me that in order to be successful in life you will need to work for it. When I turned 16 they told me that if I got a job and keep up my grades they would let me drive the family car. I think that is the best life lesson I learned and it would definitely be the one I want to pass on to my future children. I would like to go to a college that I can play hockey for and ultimately get a degree. My future long term goals include serving my country in the military.
