Hi,
My name is Colin Unzicker.
I currently attend lake Superior State University.
I played hockey on the LSSU D3 team (ACHA D3) my freshman year (2022/2023). I am proud to share that I lead the team in scoring with 6G and 4A in shortened season (13 game season). I also want to share with you that while scoring is an important part of my game, I am also a very hard-working defensive player. I know the value of a strong back check.
Our program ran into some financial issues and our 2023/2204 season was cut short and the D3 program was de-funded. Obviously, I was extremely disappointed by this, but I made the decision to remain at Lake State for the remainder of the year to stay on my academic schedule.
However, going into the 2024/2025 season, I am looking to transfer to a school that meets my academic needs as well as a stable ACHA hockey program.
I would love the opportunity to discuss your program and see if it might be a good fit for my academic and hockey needs.
I look forward to the opportunity to meet with coaches and share more of my story.
Colin
