My name is Mason Kohn and I am writing this so you can get to know me as a person and a hockey player.
I am a 2000 born, right-handed center currently playing for the Boston Jr. Bruins in the NCDC. I am 6'0 and 190 pounds.
My biggest strengths are my hockey IQ, my 200 foot play, and my shot. However, the things that set me most apart from other players are my work ethic and compete level. I play an aggressive, strong 200-foot game with contribution through all three zones. I can play any role and am willing to do anything to help my team win.
My parents were also very active in sports. My father played varsity basketball and baseball in high school and went on to play Division 1 baseball at Harvard. My mother also played varsity soccer in high school.
Academically, I am a 4.2 student at Torrey Pines High School. I have a 1470/1600 on the SAT. I am very committed to playing college hockey and will do whatever it takes to get there.
