November 2020Personal Statement
My name is Owen Polombo and I graduate as part of the class of 2023. My goal is to attend and play hockey at a high level college. Although one of my main goals of college is to play hockey, I hope to go to college for so much more. I am a good candidate to play high level college hockey because I've been playing hockey for as long as I can remember, and with that I have had really high highs and really low lows. I currently play hockey for Saint John's High School, which is D1 in central MA, and I play Tier 1 AAA hockey on the Minute Man Flames. I am different from other recruits, because other recruits cannot do everything I do. I manage to hold a 4.4 GPA in all honors classes, and play 3 different sports. I have a game or practice every single day but I can do everything, unlike other recruits who just play and focus on hockey. I hope I am able to be a good fit on your hockey team and in your school.
