Christian Look '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a visionary defenseman that is not afraid to get into the offensive plays.  I am a fast skater, fast learner and encouraging to my teammates.   You can speak to any of my coaches and they will say that I am coachable and respectful.   My hockey-sense and ice vision is incredible.  I provide consistent tape-to-tape passes and my efforts are play-makers.  I work hard and take pride in everything I do.   I have grown physically and mentally with the game.  I work hard year-round to maintain and build my skills and growth.
I am not your typical 'flashy player' that stands out.  I am also not the biggest guy on the ice that would draw your attention.  I am the player 'behind the scenes' that makes the simple, smart plays.  I am the player that has the greatest vision on the ice.  The one with hockey smarts to make the right decisions and best passes that create the most opportunities.   The standout player cannot be a standout, without a player like me. I know that it takes someone to be watching me to be able to appreciate my play.  If you are looking for the player that is strong, wins battles, and can get the puck to that standout player; as well as putting them in the position to be able to do their flashy stuff, I am your guy!

I am currently attending Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI and play hockey on their NAIA/ACHA D1 team.  I'm looking to possibly transfer to a university with better academic advancements with Business Administration and Clinical Exercise Science.  I have 2 years of eligibility in the books and plan to get a master's degree, leaving me with enough years left to create a hockey career with another team.
