The highlight of my hockey career so far would be going to play in the 15u national championships in April of 2017. This was a big thing for me because it gave me the opportunity to show what I can do at a higher level.
Something that I learned about my self from playing hockey was that I am extremely competitive. This to me is a good thing because I'm so competitive I work harder off the ice and on the ice so that I can help my team win. Sometimes this is a disadvantage though because when you work so hard to be the best you can it sometimes it doesn't get recognized, but I like to use that as a drive to work hard so my coaches do see how hard I'm working.
I started playing hockey because, my brother played hockey and so did my dad and I just ended up falling in love with it. my brother played right wing and my dad was a defenceman in high school. though I liked playing as a player I wanted to try goalie in mites so I did. I fell in love with goalie as soon as I took one my brothers shots off the head. As soon as we got off the ice I went to my dad and said, "that was awesome. Did you see that he hit me in the head", and that is why I started to play goalie.
