Personal Statement

I'm Hannah Noah. My friends would describe me as thoughtful, competitive, and unapologetic. I am goal driven and put my teams needs before my own feelings. Over my years playing, learning, and observing softball I know what I need to do in order to keep myself calm and focused. Short term memory and taking perspective of a situation is how I cope best in case I make a mistake. When a teammate, or myself, makes a mistake I know it is important to not dwell on the mistake but instead to focus on the future, or something good instead, and to always keep cheering.

The location of my future school is very important to me and is definitely a deciding factor. I love nature, sun, woods, rocks, farms, and anything scenic, and that is were I intend to live. My grandparents own and work on a farm, and I've always loved being alone with the animals or just riding around in the truck. Big cities or areas like that have no sense of home for me, and there is just no space for me to relax.

My goals for my future in softball are to play collegiately in a town that I love, with girls I can have fun with, and a coach whom I can have warm, easy, and frequent communication with. I don't and will not do passive aggressive. I am a versatile player and will learn and adapt, to the best of my ability, to wherever a coach needs me to play. I have played in all positions apart from pitching, however, my primaries are catcher, shortstop, and outfield.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
