Personal Statement

I began playing hockey for the North Jersey Avalanche as a Mite, all the way through the 16U Level, where my teammates & I won the National Championship in Missouri.   I also play for Bergen Catholic High School, as I have since I enrolled there as a Freshman.  Now that I'm beginning my Senior year at Bergen Catholic, while playing for the 18U Long Island Gulls NTB Team, I'm looking at colleges, where I'd love to continue playing hockey while getting an excellent education.

  • From TSA Scouting: Antonio Arcaroli - 04’ Forward (Constitution) ‘20-’21 : North Jersey Avalanche U16 / Bergen Catholic The strong, power-forward was one of the most noticeable players throughout the tournament. His strength and puck skills made him a nightmare for opposing defenders off the rush as he combines soft hands with deceptive speed for his size. He was hard on pucks in all 3 zones, had a very heavy shot, and sniped a beautiful goal in full stride on Sunday.

  • The 20 Best Players From The 16U USA National Championship Posted on May 6, 2021 by Chase Allen (Puck Preps) The 2021 U16 USA Hockey Nationals had plenty of talent on display this year, with many NCAA D1 commits and a handful of CHL/USHL prospects; along with a fair share of uncommitted or undrafted players who have plenty to offer. Here are what I found to be the top 20 players from this year’s tournament. # 12. Antonio Arcaroli, Center – North Jersey Avalanche Although the North Jersey Avalanche had a stacked top line, Antonio Arcaroli was a huge part in the team’s ultimate success. Arcaroli was strong in all areas of the ice. In the offensive zone Arcaroli was able to get open for scoring chances thanks to his ability to read the play. Arcaroli cut off passing lanes and forced turnover in the neutral zone, showing off great 4-way agility for a forward. In his own end Arcaroli was great positionally, and did a wonderful job locking down his man. 16U Game Report: Sioux Falls Power vs North Jersey Avalanche Posted on May 1, 2021 by Chase Allen (Puck Preps) Sioux Falls Power (5) vs North Jersey Avalanche (6) – May 1st, 2021 If you like defense, well, then this game wasn’t for you. Although, if you like goals? This was exactly your type of game. The battle between Sioux Falls and North Jersey was an absolute goal fest, ending 6-5 with a North Jersey victory. After the first period the Avalanche led 3-1, as they struck quickly and scored 3 goals in less than 5 minutes to start the game. In the 2nd period roles reversed, the Power took it to the Avs, out scoring them 3-1 in the 2nd period. After 2 periods it was evident there would be more goals to come and that it was unlikely the 3rd would be low scoring. In the 3rd period Nicholas Moldenhauer completed his 2nd hattrick of the tournament, giving the Avs the 6-5 lead. The Avalanche would hold on and win 6-5 being led by the Quentin Musty line which dominated the entire game. The Quentin Musty line did do the bulk of the damage for the North Jersey Avalanche, but Antonio Arcaroli did his job as a 2nd line center to assure the Avs kept supplying pressure when the big boys were off the ice. Arcaroli had an accurate shot on the 1 goal he picked up and read the developing play well, allowing him to get open for passes. Arcaroli did a great job supporting his teammates in the offensive zone, as he was almost always open and available to receive a pass. The spotlight was stolen by the Avs top line, but Arcaroli played a solid overall game that may go unnoticed by most.

  • From Neutral Zone Scouting Report: Antonio Arcaroli #10 (F, L, 6’0″, 181, North Jersey Avalanche U16, 07/01/2004) - Antonio scored a goal as a left shot on the left wing as he fired one short side. He has some speed, balance and his weight distribution when shooting was very good. He looked like a goal scorer. He was always crashing the net with and without the puck and had the size, strength, stick and balance to do it. He has a long stick and is strong on the puck. He is a really intriguing 2004, perhaps with as much upside as anyone here. He needs a bit more pace to his game but he is smart and knows his way around the net. His shot is that of a goal scorer and those are rare these days. Grade: A-
