Bryan Hirtzel '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing Ice Hockey for the past 10 years as a Goalie. My commitment to the sport has made me more focused & determined to perfect my skills not only on the ice but also during the off season attending goalie clinics & working out. Since my fathers death in 2017 my mother has raised me & my sister while working full time & managing a household. Her strength & courage has shown me not to give up and continue to push myself, work hard and focus on hockey and to be the best I can be. While playing hockey, I have learned to be competitive, determined and help motivate and push my teammates on and off the ice with constant communication and a positive work ethic. We play as a team whether we win or lose, focus on our mistakes and learn from them for the next game.
