Giuliana Lavacca '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Giuliana Lavacca. I am 16 years old, and in my junior year of high school and graduate in 2022. I have been playing soccer for as long as I can remember, and I love the sport. As a goalkeeper, I also love being a leader on the field. I take control on the field, as well as off. I do very well in school, and I was the president of my sophomore class. I strive for academic excellence and I care deeply about my studies. I want a career in social work when I’m older, so I am looking for a college with a good social work / psychology major along with a good sports program. I am a hard worker in school and on the field. I am determined and motivated, and do my best to drive my teammates to be the same. 

I know coaches search throughout these accounts looking through recruits that are all the same, but I believe that I am different. I'm not only ambitious, but I am a talented goalie. I made the varsity team at my high school as a freshman. I also have played in many different club leagues including NPL, EDP, and most recently, ECRL. Not only do I play soccer, but I play softball as well. I was pulled from JV to Varsity at the end of the season my freshman year. I juggle a lot between my varsity soccer team, my club soccer team, softball, and maintaining a 104 overall average; but I push through it and always do the best I possibly can. I love soccer with all my heart, and I really feel I could benefit your team.
