Anthony Avarello '13 Recruiting Profile

I firstly, would like a solid education. I am interested in business management. However, I have been playing hockey since I was a 5 and always dreamed of playing at higher level like college. My goal is to play at the college level, but realizing how important getting a good education is. Also, between all of this keeping up with church activities since without God none of this is possible. My parents supported me over the years and I would not want to disappoint them. Hence, I was excited about opportunities in playing college hockey. Winters are long and cold in Buffalo and it's is here in Buffalo, is where my love for hockey arose. As I watched the Buffalo Sabres play as kid I dreamed of playing a higher level. I have played triple A hockey for several years and while my high school hockey team was somewhat dissappointing for me I chose to play Junior hockey with the Buffalo stars. It has been a lot of fun and I am learning a lot, however, are team the Buffalo Stars is the youngest in the league and struggling as we are rebuilding this year.
