I believe the highlight of my High School career was winning the division title as a sophomore. While being a major part of the effort, I learned how to come together as a team and overcome any obstacle that comes our way, towards the end of the season we lost 4 skilled players from our roster, however we still prevailed. You're strong as an individual, but as a team you have to potential to be unstoppable. Ever since I started playing and as I went on throughout my career, I loved the thought of a team being a family. Building bonds and friendships with teammates have proven to be positive on and off the ice.
I was raised in a hockey family having cousins and siblings playing from a young age leading me to start playing at the age of 4. I've always loved competing and the thought of improving myself both mentally and physically at all times. My love for the game, to take on challenges, and desire and dedication to the sport will fuel my efforts both on and off the ice. I recently was named Niagara PAL male athlete of the year honoree. I refuse to stop myself from improving my skills, as well as my intelligence. My athletic and academic habits go hand-in-hand. I have worked hard to get where I am academically in high school and have no intentions of stopping -- in High School or in College. This allows me to not only bring my dedication and work ethic to any team I represent, but also my intelligence both on and off the ice.
